Hard Working Boys

Russ worked hard setting up a new play area right off the kennel today. It will be great not to have to take the dogs across the yard to let them play every time. Leif played hard with the lucky dogs who got to test out the new playground- first Mud Pie and Flurry, and then Rev and Sherpa. And Erik did a super job mowing some of the lawn!!

Club House Update!

The old cat kennel has been renamed as The Wolves Den. Russ has done an awesome job turning it into a nice space for the boys and the family to spend time. It needs a few more finishing touches, but we watched movies and the guys spent a nice air conditioned night in it last night. The girl (me) spent a hot night in the house with the dogs.

Another Hot Day

The dogs stay coolest in their kennel or under the shady pines on days this hot. Erik practices his aim with his blow gun. Leif makes a cool water slide.

1/2 Fun, 1/2 Pout

Here we are at our brook. Erik didn't want to come down but we made him. Here he is sitting and pouting. At one point I threatened to toss him in the brook. Maybe I should have. Leif had a lot of fun with the tube and his sub-skate. We also made little bark boats and had races!

When Erik is in Charge

This is what Erik does while he is supposed to be watching Leif. I am out doing dog chores. This is Leif and what he was up to. He did an "experiment" in a baggie with water, milk, candy, and then some sand. He made a stinky mess on this hot day!
