On the Lookout

Shooter is using his best stance while on the lookout for the cats that parade around our yard throughout the day. He says perfect posture and a keen eye are key to spotting the most cats.

A Visitor

Our neighbors found this pretty Husky stray on our road, and I was glad to let her stay in our kennel until she could be brought to the shelter- hopefully to be reunited with her family. It was hard to just put her out there alone, but it was the safest thing to do for our dogs. Of course we think it would be fun to just keep her, but I'm sure someone is missing her. I'm just glad to have her in a safe place off of the road.

Bus Stop Fun

Probably the most energy of any bus stop around!!

Cool Air Hike, Cool Water Refreshment

We took Sherpa and Rev for a lovely Fall walk. The brook was full and flowing fast from the rain we had had, it was a nice refreshment for the pups. As for the human pups- they enjoyed cool refreshment from their handy new CamelBak water backpacks!!

It's Shepard's Pie, It's Pumpkin Pie- No It's Mud Pie!

Here is Mud Pie making a wish to indulge on Shepard's pie. And here is Mud Pie indulging his momma and letting me dress him up as a pumpkin pie-" for just a minute mom!" We love you yummy Mud Pie!!

A Night on the Town- Boy Style

First we pigged out at the Bar-b-Que joint and then went over to shop at the gory Halloween store! It was a boy's night out, and that's just they way this girl happens to like it!

Shooter's House Visit

Not only was it house time for Shooter, but with his eternal puppy face he was awarded the rare living room visit- complete with couch privilege, and to top it all off a cozy night's sleep in Leif's bed!! We love you Shoots!!

Windy Day Training Run

We ran Shooter Flurry and Rev first. Sherpa felt a little self conscious to pull next to his brother, he laid down with a sad face when we hooked him up at first. But then when the dogs started running, he was screaming and bouncing around on his leash-"I changed my mind Dad! I changed my mind!" So we switched Flurry to the back with Rev and put Sherpa up in front with Shooter. They did so well!!

Dog Friends- and Dog Family, and Little Emma Too!

We had a great time at the Dog Fair. We attended as spectators, and had a fun time watching the events. There were a lot of beautiful Siberians to admire, and out of the whole lot Russ spotted Mudpie, Sherpa and Rev's handsome brother Strider. Strider is Sherpa and Rev's litter mate, but looks just like his older brother Mudpie. Here is Strider in a pic above on the right. And a pic of Mudpie for comparison below him. And then Strider's litter mates Sherpa and Rev. After the fair we stopped over to have a visit with the littlest musher we know Emma Elizabeth!! She is so beautiful and very funny! And a nice pic of one of her family dogs Blue. It was a great trip!
