X-treme Skills Christmas

During this new year we will be fine tuning minds and bodies, and gain new skills in some common and uncommon crafts. The boys will enjoy targeting each other with their new Airsoft guns, while finding opportunities to escape using some Parkour skills they will learn from the new dvd. (Parkour is to run along a route attempting to negotiate obstacles in the way using only your body) The family will have fun coaching each other training on our new slackline, and mastering our new Fushigi gravity ball. But probably not at the same time! On a side note there was the newest model ipod under the tree for Erik- but there is not much skill needed to use that!

Leif's Real 8th Birthday! Dec. 17

Happy 8th birthday little man! How time flies... Leif enjoyed his day of opening presents, bubbly bath time, pancakes, gaming (of course), messy rib eating, Castle Crasher themed cake, new lego building, and a special night out with dad to see Yogi Bear 3D with movie passes he got from a friend for his early birthday! And long after I had gone to bed, and Erik too, I could hear Leif having a good time staying up late with Russ having burgers! They even ended up sleeping on the couch!

Erik's Christmas Concert

We always look forward to Erik's Christmas band concert. And Erik was looking forward to wearing his tiny Santa hat, but his teacher had him wear the regular size hat. Well, he looked just as cute in the regular size anyway. The kids sounded fabulous, hopefully the video will load so you can hear for yourselves! Merry Christmas!

Tis' the Season

...to enjoy cookie bars by the light of the tree!

Kennel Playtime

Leif enjoys fuzzy sweeties Rev and Moxie.

Origami Class

Our friend Ben did an awesome job teaching us how to get started in the Japanese art of Origami. We learned to make a paper boat and a jumping frog. But the toughest one to fold was the beautiful paper crane. Ben had made some very tricky art on his own that you can see in the top pic. Thanks for the class Ben!

Food Critter Class

Leif joined some new friends at a food critter class where he made some tasty snacks almost too cute to eat! A hot dog dog, a pear bunny, apple ladybug, and a banana caterpillar.
