Memory Monday
These pics were taken a couple of falls ago. We spent a beautiful early fall day at camp with 5 dogs and our bikes and the blue rig. We had a blast!! I remember... how good the sandwiches tasted... how handsome Dune and Shooter looked pulling in their harnesses... how my little girls Flurry and Moxie used to get along and pull so perfectly together... how adorable Mudpie was when he was just a wee pup ... how big I thought my boys were then... how proud I was of Russ for building an awesome dog box!

Sunday Sledding
The snow on the lawn was great for sledding with the tube this weekend. We also tried under the barn roof where the snow slides off and makes a hill. Russ, Leif, and I took turns, while Erik, outside against his will, sprawled out under the pines in protest of spending time with the family. He didn't even take one turn- that would have actually been fun.
Icy Brook
Sunday afternoon we went down to the brook to see the ice on the banks. It was really beautiful. We were breaking the ice and watching it float down stream and making ice dams. Then we found our pallet that we thought had been washed away by the rain. Russ had gotten it in the summer to make a bridge. Some fishermen must have lugged it away to make a platform to stand on while they fished. Then Erik found this cool piece of ice that looked like a giant crystal. And yes- Erik, Leif and I all slipped in!
