This 1st pic is Mt. Washington seen from our town. It shines white even when it is not covered with snow because of the quartz and mica. In old times explorers thought the mountain must made up of diamonds.
Very pretty, I never knew that the mountain shown white because of quartz and mica, I always thought it constantly had snow on it. Thanks for teaching me something new today. Where did you take that picture from in town? Saturday was such a nice day for your adventure it looks like you guys had a blast!!!
